To repeal a requirement that police officers take up to $100 of appearance security money from nonresident motorists for civil infractions of the state law that governs commercial motor vehicles. See House Bill 6011, which would enroll Michigan in a multi-state compact that shares traffic violation records with other states for enforcement purposes.
