To revise a law that restricts government employees from holding more than one job with their government employer. The bill would extend to police officers and chiefs an exemption that lets fire fighters also be on the payroll as an emergency services personnel or as a firefighter, fire chief, police officer, chief of police, or public safety officer, with certain exceptions for individuals involved in union bargaining.
