To include employees deemed to be "essential critical energy infrastructure workers," and state health department employees involved in administering and enforcing coronavirus restrictions and mandates, in a list of professions exempt from a ban on reporting to work after close contact with an individual with a positive COVID test, or if they show symptoms of the disease. The bill would also give the director of the state health department the authority to add more exempt categories.
