2011 Senate Bill 277

Senate Roll Call 135: Passed

To require the Department of Environmental Quality to conduct two studies each year benchmarking regulatory programs on the basis of per permit cost, how fast permits are processed, and “customer service” practices. The benchmarking would continue at that pace until all programs had been reviewed. Program review teams would have to include a representative of the persons regulated by the program.
