To explicitly allow "guaranteed asset protection waivers" that would be regulated under the new law proposed by House Bill 4989 to be included in an auto loan, and establish regulations for this. The waiver contract would have to be listed as a separate item and not wrapped into the total charge. This bill amends the "retail installment sales act”.
