2003 Senate Bill 724

House Roll Call 357: Passed

To clarify a county medical examiner's investigative duties regarding death of an individual while under hospice care. The bill would establish that the examiner need not investigate the death of an individual suffering from a terminal illness unless the examiner reasonably believes that the death is a result of suspicious circumstances, or the investigation is requested by the attending physician or a family member.
