2007 Senate Bill 747: Revise school excused absence policy for children of military

To require public schools to consider it an excused absence if a pupil is absent from school for one or two school days because his or her parent, legal guardian or sibling is a service member being deployed on or returning from active duty. Excusing additional absences would be up to each school.
