To allow (but not require) the Department of Environmental Quality to recalculate dioxin cleanup criteria based upon the recommendations of the report, "Health Risks from Dioxins and Related Compounds: Evaluation of the EPA Reassessment", issued in 2006, by the National Research Council of the National Academies, and other appropriate information. This provision would be repealed one year after the bill's effective date.
