To require the Department of Public Health to promote public awareness and increase knowledge about the statewide network of (umbilical) cord blood stem cell banks proposed by House Bill 6291, and the benefits of cord blood stem cells, by developing and disseminating educational materials on the uses and benefits of cord blood stem cells, research results, and any other related materials to enable the public to make informed decisions about the use of cord blood stem cells.
