To modify various provisions of the state commercial drivers license requirements so as to comply with new federal laws (details <a href="http://www.legislature.mi.gov/documents/2005-2006/billanalysis/Senate/htm/2005-SFA-6084-S.htm">here</a>. The bill would also revise details of a lighthouse preservation grant program funded by the sale of specialty license plates, and require criminal background checks for auto dealers and salvagers.
