The end of the 2005 fiscal year (Sept. 30, 2005) to operate State Police posts in Groveland Township, Iron River, and Grand Haven, which would be closed under <a href="http://www.michiganvotes.org/2005-SB-280">Public Act 159 of 2005</a>. The bill also provides extra money for state fire investigations; security for the 2005 Baseball All Star Game and the 2006 Super Bowl; and to pay local governments for fire protection services provided to state buildings. The bill authorizes $8.85 million in total spending.
