A bill to amend 2001 PA 181, entitled “An act to authorize the board of a school district to award high school diplomas to World War II veterans and Korean conflict veterans under certain circumstances; and to prescribe duties and responsibilities of certain state officers and officials,” (MCL 35.341 to 35.343) by amending the title, as amended by 2003 PA 203, and by adding section 341a.
Allows Michigan school districts to award high school diplomas to women who left school to support the World War II effort, expanding recognition previously given only to veterans.
