A bill to amend 2008 PA 295, entitled “Clean and renewable energy and energy waste reduction act,” (MCL 460.1001 to 460.1232) by adding sections 243, 244, 245, and 246.
Senate Bills Nos. 731 and 732 together create a comprehensive framework for integrating, managing, and compensating distributed energy resources, including storage and behind-the-meter systems, in Michigan’s electric grid to support clean energy, grid modernization, reliability, consumer protection, and equitable access, contingent on the enactment of related legislation.
