A bill to amend 1969 PA 317, entitled “Worker’s disability compensation act of 1969,” by amending section 835 (MCL 418.835), as amended by 2011 PA 266.
House Bills 5177 through 5191 collectively modernize and expand Michigan’s workers’ compensation system by broadening employee coverage, increasing death and disability benefits, enhancing medical and vocational protections, improving claim and payment procedures, and strengthening oversight and fairness for injured workers, dependents, and public servants.
