A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled “Public health code,” by amending sections 18506 and 18509 (MCL 333.18506 and 333.18509), section 18506 as added and section 18509 as amended by 2004 PA 61, and by adding section 18509a.
Amends Michigan's Public Health Code to update social worker licensure requirements, including a new pathway for applicants who have not passed the licensing exam to obtain a waiver by completing additional supervised experience.
