A bill to amend 1949 PA 300, entitled “Michigan vehicle code,” by amending sections 221 and 310 (MCL 257.221 and 257.310), as amended by 2021 PA 104, and by adding section 221a.
Amends the Michigan Vehicle Code to allow individuals with communication impediments to voluntarily designate this status on vehicle registrations, driver’s licenses, and through a free decal, improving law enforcement awareness and interactions, contingent on the passage of related legislation.
