A bill to amend 1976 PA 388, entitled “Michigan campaign finance act,” by amending sections 3, 6, and 9 (MCL 169.203, 169.206, and 169.209), section 3 as amended by 2017 PA 119, section 6 as amended by 2023 PA 244, and section 9 as amended by 2019 PA 93.
Amends the Michigan Campaign Finance Act to include caregiving expenses as campaign expenditures and clarifies definitions related to candidates and campaign finance activities.
