A bill to amend 1984 PA 270, entitled “Michigan strategic fund act,” by amending section 4 (MCL 125.2004), as amended by 2020 PA 358, and by adding section 7c.
House Bill No. 5288 amends the Michigan Strategic Fund Act to prohibit state economic assistance to entities on the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act Entity List, requiring forfeiture and reimbursement with penalties for violators, and mandates amending existing agreements within 90 days to enforce these provisions.
