A bill to amend 1949 PA 300, entitled “Michigan vehicle code,” by amending section 227 (MCL 257.227), as amended by 2011 PA 92.
House Bill No. 5110 updates the Michigan Vehicle Code to clarify insurance verification procedures for vehicle registration renewals and allows for the issuance of free temporary registration permits when new plates are delayed.
