House Bill No. 4784 amends Michigan's wildlife management laws to create a new Upper Peninsula Commission with authority over game species and hunting seasons in the region, emphasizes science-based management and public input, and conditions its enactment on the passage of related legislation. House Bill No. 4785 and 4786 amends Michigan's Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act to establish the Upper Peninsula Natural Resources Commission with new regional authority over certain wildlife management decisions, contingent on the passage of related legislation.
