A bill to amend 1861 PA 21, entitled “An act to confirm deeds and instruments intended for the conveyance of real estate in certain cases,” by amending section 2 (MCL 565.602).
This is part of a package of bills designed to make language in our state laws gender neutral such as in the establishment of inheritance rights, divorce settlements or workers compensation to name a few sections that will be amended.
