A bill to amend 1975 PA 288, entitled “An act to equalize income rights of husband and wife in real estate and other property, held as tenants by the entirety,” by amending the title and section 1 (MCL 557.71).
This is part of a package of bills designed to make language in our state laws gender neutral such as in the establishment of inheritance rights, divorce settlements or workers compensation to name a few sections that will be amended.
