A bill to amend 1974 PA 154, entitled “Michigan occupational safety and health act,” (MCL 408.1001 to 408.1094) by adding section 66a.
Seeks to protect employees from retaliation if they refuse to work due to reasonable concerns about exposure to communicable diseases or unsafe conditions, requiring employers to pay wages if the conditions remain uncorrected and establishing a presumption of violation if adverse actions are taken within 90 days.
