A bill to amend 2006 PA 110, entitled “Michigan zoning enabling act,” by amending section 205 (MCL 125.3205), as amended by 2023 PA 234.

House Bills 4027 and 4028 amend the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act to remove the applicability of part 8 of the Clean and Renewable Energy and Energy Waste Reduction Act. Also removes the ability to grandfather in the acceptance of any renewable energy facility approved after January 1, 2021 that prevents the special land use from being modified or revoked.
