Authorize pharmacy quality assurance program

To require the state Board of Pharmacy and the Department of Community Health to establish and implement a quality assurance program to detect, identify, and prevent prescription errors in pharmacies. The bill would also require pharmacists to post a notice advising consumers that they may contact the state Board of Pharmacy if they have a concern that an error may have occurred in their prescription, and giving contact information.
