Introduced by Rep. Peter Lucido (R) on August 16, 2017 To require the Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association (MCCA) to disclose the actuarial computations used in rate setting. The MCCA is the reinsurance provider that covers unlimited vehicle crash medical claims when they go above $545,000, coverage that is mandated by the state no-fault auto insurance law. The bill would also raise that amount to $555,000. Official Text and Analysis.
