To increase juror compensation to $45 a day after the first day of jury duty (instead of the current $40), and similar increases for first days and half days, but only if there is sufficient money in a state juror compensation fund, which get money from various court fees.

To increase juror compensation to $45 a day after the first day of jury duty (instead of the current $40), and similar increases for first days and half days, but only if there is sufficient money in a state juror compensation fund, which get money from various court fees. The bill would also increase from the juror mileage reimbursement rate from 10 cents to 20 cents per mile.
