Introduced by Sen. Ruth Johnson (R) on June 9, 2022

Violations by an organization would be subject to a $100,000 fine, and $1,000 if the violator is an individual. In the 2020 election some Democratic and left-leaning groups and interests gave “get out the vote” money to local governments in municipalities with heavily Democratic majorities.   Official Text and Analysis.
