2017 Senate Bill 600: Don't mandate medical marijuana "dispensary" shut-down
Introduced by Sen. Rick Jones (R) on September 28, 2017
To not require medical marijuana “dispensaries” to close for three months or more starting in December 2017, which they would otherwise have to do pending implementation of a new licensure mandate. The closure and mandate are the result of an order promulgated under the authority of a comprehensive medical marijuana ”seed to sale” regulatory regime enacted in 2016 that imposes licensure mandates on marijuana growers, transporters, dispensaries and more.   Official Text and Analysis.
Referred to the Senate Health Policy Committee on September 28, 2017
