2013 House Bill 5023

Revise occupational license detail

Introduced in the House

Oct. 1, 2013

Introduced by Rep. Rob VerHeulen (R-74)

To revise the three-year of experience a person must acquire to be granted a state-license allowing him or her to earn a living as a “mechanical contractor.” The bill would define this as fulfilled if the person has held a license for three years in one of the sub-classifications of this licensure mandate, which include refrigeration, steam or forced-air heating systems, and fire suppression systems.
