Official Text and Analysis.
Referred to the House Judiciary Committee on January 25, 2012
Reported in the House on April 19, 2012
Without amendment and with the recommendation that the bill pass.
Amendment offered by Rep. Lisa Brown D-West Bloomfield on May 9, 2012
To tie-bar the bill to House Bill 4237, meaning this bill cannot become law unless that one does also. HB 4237 would to make it a crime to post a false, reputation-damaging message online about a minon with the intent to intimidate, frighten, harass or cause emotional distress.
The amendment failed by voice vote in the House on May 9, 2012
