To prohibit surveillance of, or recording or capturing the image of a person under circumstances in which the individual would have a reasonable expectation of privacy, subject to up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine. The bill would not apply to eavesdropping or surveillance not otherwise prohibited by law by a media representative in the performance of his or her duties.
