A bill to amend 1956 PA 218, entitled “The insurance code of 1956,” (MCL 500.100 to 500.8302) by adding section 3009a.
Amends Michigan's insurance code to prohibit passengers impaired by alcohol or drugs, or those refusing chemical testing, from recovering insurance benefits if injured in an accident caused by an impaired driver, provided another person is also injured or killed.
