Senate Bills 898 and 899 establishes a new, expanded Brownfield Redevelopment Grant and Loan Program in Michigan, increasing funding limits, updating eligibility and oversight requirements, and streamlining the process for local governments to remediate and redevelop contaminated properties for economic and environmental benefit.
