A bill to amend 2003 PA 198, entitled “Farm produce insurance act,” by amending section 9 (MCL 285.319), as amended by 2016 PA 264.
Amends the Farm Produce Insurance Act to increase administrative expense limits, clarify fund management and investment rules, and strengthen oversight of the Farm Produce Insurance Fund to better protect Michigan agricultural producers.
