A bill to prohibit certain immigration enforcement agreements; and to provide for the powers and duties of certain state and local governmental officers and entities.
Senate Bill No. 780 prohibits Michigan law enforcement agencies from entering into, modifying, or renewing formal immigration enforcement agreements with the federal government under section 287(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act.
