A bill to amend 1976 PA 451, entitled “The revised school code,” by amending section 1233b (MCL 380.1233b), as amended by 2018 PA 235.
Expands the eligibility and employment duration for noncertificated, nonendorsed teachers in Michigan high schools, especially in STEM and technical education, by amending qualification requirements and allowing continued employment beyond 10 years with appropriate approvals.
