A bill to amend 1972 PA 344, entitled “Agricultural marketing and bargaining act,” by amending section 4 (MCL 290.704), as amended by 2012 PA 119.
Amends the Agricultural Marketing and Bargaining Act to clarify prohibited practices for handlers and associations, introduce new financial accountability requirements for associations, and reinforce the Department of Agriculture's enforcement authority.
