A bill to create the primary care access, improvement, and transformation commission and prescribe its powers and duties; to provide for the powers and duties of certain state governmental officers and entities; and to repeal acts and parts of acts.
House Bills 6288, 6289 and 6290 amend Michigan's Social Welfare Act to require Medicaid health plans to increase primary care spending to at least 12% over eight years, mandates annual reporting and corrective action, expands managed care and performance incentives, and introduces measures to improve quality, efficiency, and transparency in the state's Medicaid program.
