A bill to amend 1939 PA 280, entitled “The social welfare act,” by amending section 105d (MCL 400.105d), as amended by 2023 PA 98, and by adding section 105k.
House Bills 6288, 6289 and 6290 amend Michigan's Social Welfare Act to require Medicaid health plans to increase primary care spending to at least 12% over eight years, mandates annual reporting and corrective action, expands managed care and performance incentives, and introduces measures to improve quality, efficiency, and transparency in the state's Medicaid program.
