A bill to amend 1927 PA 175, entitled “The code of criminal procedure,” by amending section 11b of chapter VI (MCL 766.11b), as amended by 2014 PA 123.
Amends Michigan's criminal procedure code to expand the types of hearsay evidence admissible at preliminary examinations and clarifies procedures for introducing such evidence, especially in cases involving assaultive crimes, home invasion, or arson.
