A bill to prohibit governmental entities from allowing access to certain nonpublic areas under certain circumstances; and to provide for the powers and duties of certain state and local governmental officers and entities.
Prohibits Michigan state and local government entities from granting federal immigration authorities access to nonpublic areas without a judicial warrant, while preserving exceptions for law enforcement and emergency situations.
