A bill to amend 1939 PA 280, entitled “The social welfare act,” by amending section 106 (MCL 400.106), as amended by 2023 PA 98, and by adding section 106d.
Increases the personal needs allowance for Medicaid recipients in nursing homes to $90 per month and strengthens procedures for the state to recover medical expenses from legal settlements or judgments.
