A bill to prohibit excessive pricing for certain lodgings during a declared state of emergency; to provide remedies and penalties; and to provide for the powers and duties of certain state and local governmental officers and entities.
House Bills 6102, 6103 and 6104 prohibit price gouging on essential goods and services during and shortly after a declared emergency in Michigan, establishes penalties and enforcement mechanisms, and is contingent on the passage of related legislation.
