A bill to amend 1990 PA 187, entitled “The pupil transportation act,” by amending section 10 (MCL 257.1810), as amended by 2006 PA 107.
Strengthens student transportation safety by requiring all vehicles used for pupil transport to comply with federal safety standards and prohibits transporting students in excess of a vehicle's rated seating capacity.
