A bill to amend 1961 PA 236, entitled “Revised judicature act of 1961,” by amending section 5821 (MCL 600.5821), as amended by 2016 PA 52.
Strengthens legal protections for public land and highways by exempting state and local authorities from certain property claims and establishing a presumption in favor of public highway status for land recorded as such for at least 10 years.
