House Bills 6023 and 6024 update the Michigan Merit Examination by allowing alternative testing options, introducing opt-out provisions for workforce readiness assessments, strengthening quality and reporting requirements, and mandating the inclusion of genocide education, all to better align with state and national educational standards.
