A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled “Public health code,” (MCL 333.1101 to 333.25211) by adding section 22224d.
Allows independent outpatient imaging centers in Michigan to initiate or expand certain imaging services by filing a letter of intent with the Department of Health instead of obtaining a Certificate of Need, provided they are not hospital-affiliated and do not charge facility fees.
