A bill to provide for reimbursement to a local law enforcement agency for the expense of responding to reports of certain incidents; and to provide for the powers and duties of certain state and local governmental officers and entities.
House Bills 5705 and 5706 creates a formal process for local law enforcement agencies in Michigan to be reimbursed by the state for responding to incidents on state-controlled roadways when the state police are unavailable and request local assistance.
