A bill to amend 1949 PA 300, entitled “Michigan vehicle code,” by amending sections 2, 653a, and 907 (MCL 257.2, 257.653a, and 257.907), section 2 as amended by 2011 PA 231, section 653a as amended by 2018 PA 349, and section 907 as amended by 2024 PA 164; and to repeal acts and parts of acts.
Expands the definition of work zones, increases penalties for moving violations causing injury or death in work, school, and bus zones, and makes these changes contingent on the passage of related legislation.
